HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT THEM AND COME AWAY LOOKING FABULOUS!
On the heels of an incredibly robust 2023 event, Missoula Aging Services is once again conducting their annual Wear-It-Again Jewelry Sale! The sale takes place this Saturday, June 8, 8:00 a.m - 3:30 p.m. in the Home Arts Building of the Missoula Fairgrounds, which is just inside the South Avenue entrance. The sale is instrumental to the ongoing success of MAS, especially with significant increases in the need for Meals on Wheels and other services, making the Wear It Again Jewelry Sale more important than ever.
WHERE MAS GETS IT AND WHY IT LOOKS SO BEAUTIFUL
A dedicated group of Missoula Aging Services volunteers donate their time all year long to sort, clean, inspect, repair and tag donated jewelry to be sold at the annual event. The Missoula community has been incredibly generous in donating both fine and costume jewelry. MAS volunteers will tell you that the sale is a wonderful way for people to pass on unwanted jewelry, and that it feels great knowing the money raised is helping older people in need.
HOW BIG IS THIS SALE?
Thanks to an outpouring of community support, last year's Wear It Again Jewelry Sale raised over $30,000 to benefit older adults and caregivers, and they are hoping to surpass that figure this year!
We hope everyone who loves jewelry can attend. And if you'd like to donate jewelry to this sale or future sales, please take the items to Missoula Aging Services at 337 Stephens Avenue in Missoula, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays You can also call them at 406-728-7682 for more information.
