Evicted Missoula Tenant Arrested Again for Breaking Into Her Old Unit

Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On August 11, 2026, at approximately 6:44 a.m., a Missoula Police Department officer was dispatched to a possible burglary in progress in the 1300 block of Cedar St. The reporting party, a neighbor, said the residence was vacant but that he believed the suspect had broken in through a back window. The caller believed the suspect to be the ex-tenant. Dispatch advised the officer that in April, 43-year-old Hanna Rodli was arrested for burglary at the same address.  

Upon his arrival, the officer noticed that the front door of the residence was wide open and a female, later identified as Rodli, was exiting the front door. The officer exited his patrol vehicle, unholstered his duty weapon, and ordered Rodli to walk towards his location. Rodli complied. 

As other responding officer began placing Rodli into hand restraints, she appeared to start resisting their efforts and was taken down to her stomach. During this time, Rodli escalated and was yelling profanities. Rodli screamed obscene accusations about rapists, trafficking, and references to individuals by name. Several of the obscenities were directed at the officers.

Once Rodli was placed into hand restraints and brought to the back of another patrol vehicle, the officer went around to the other side of the residence and observed the back door was also open. After the officers made several announcements, they made entry and cleared the residence. No one was located inside.  

While walking back to his patrol vehicle, the officer observed a broken window on the east side of the residence with broken glass on the outside. There was little to no glass on the inside of the room where the broken window was located. It therefore appeared that the window was broken from the inside.

Then the officer spoke with the neighbor, who stated he heard glass breaking just before he called 911. He then observed Rodli climbing through a back window on the west side of the residence. While the window on the west side appeared to have been broken for some time, the neighbor stated the damage to the west window was new.  

A review of records confirms that on April 30, Rodli was arrested for burglary for entering and remaining in the same unit after having previously been evicted. This offense was amended, and a Complaint was filed in Justice Court charging Rodli with trespass. Now Rodli is being charged with felony burglary and disorderly conduct, first offense.
