On my way home from work every day I would drive by this building and normally there were a lot of cars parked in the lot and on the street. It looked like it was a busy garage. I drove by the other day and it was empty and listed for sale. This would be an opportunity for a mechanic or auto body shop, or auto detailer, to expand or move their business just off of Brooks Street. It got me thinking about some other businesses that could go in there. What would you like to see in this space listed by Paulette McMannis of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services?

Creative Or Original Restaurants

It doesn't have to be something involving automobiles. This can be an opportunity for a unique business. Notorious P.I.G. opened their second location in what was, at one time a Jiffy Lube. Maybe this could be a new restaurant. How awesome would it be to get a southside location of Double Front Chicken? What's a restaurant that we don't have in Missoula, yet, that you would like to see come to town?

What Stores Do You Miss?

What are some stores that you miss that would be a good addition to the southside neighborhood?  Maybe a "vintage" store, that doesn't carry just clothes, but they could also carry vintage posters, toys, and more on the southside of town? How about an arcade that focuses on classic video games and pinball machines? How about a pool hall?

We Will Have To Wait and See

I have a feeling that this building will be purchased soon and we will have to see what's going to be coming our way. It could be an apartment building, a house, it could something besides a business altogether. While we wait, let us know what you would like to see on the "Southside" of town.
