Last summer was the first time I attended a Fusion Fight League event. It was a great evening at Ogren Park that featured incredible weather, some free-swinging fights and a couple of cold beers to wash it all down.

It was a fun event and the first time I ever attended an MMA event. It surprised me how much fun it was. The talent ranged from new guys on the block to legitimate professionals in the main event. It was a grand ole time and now Fusion Fight League returns to Missoula.

This time FFL returns to Adams Center on Friday, October 18 at 7 pm. It's FFL's Missoula's Rising Stars night, and what a perfect night to do so. No Griz Football that weekend, so if you need your fix check out FFL on the campus of the University of Montana.

Tickets can be secured at here. Either individual seats or 10-seat VIPs if you are feeling adventurous.

Speaking of MMA, did you see the violent light heavyweight main event last Saturday at UFC 307? It featured Alex Pereira defeating Khalil Rountree in round 4 via TKO and goodness gracious it was a brutal, violent, bloody fight.

WARNING: THIS NEXT TWEET SHOWS A LOT OF BLOOD AND MAY MAKE YOUR STOMACH CURDLE

Rountree doesn't look like he fought in the Octagon. It looks like he fought a grizzly bear in the wilderness.
