If you think Missoulians will find almost any reason to get together with friends and drink beer, well, you're completely correct.

Missoula is awesome when it comes to supporting our community organizations. What makes our support such a success? Could it be the caring, giving, compassionate people of Western Montana? Could it be that we have some amazing craft brews and breweries that are usually paired up with these events? That's definitely more likely.

Next on the list is a super fun "Beers For Deer" fundraiser for the Mule Deer Foundation in Bonner, Montana.

This jam-packed event will occur on Tuesday, October 24th from 5:30 - 8 p.m. at the Kettlhouse Brewery (605 Cold Smoke Ave, Bonner Montana). The Beers For Deer event will directly promote the Mule Deer Foundation to help ensure the conservation of mule deer, black-tailed deer, and their habitat.

Highlights include a meet and greet with the Montana regional director Chris Fortune and other staff and volunteers.

Now, this wouldn't be a true Missoula event with just great local craft beer. This isn't their first rodeo so a silent auction will be on hand, along with plenty of gun raffles. Yes, beer and guns. This is Montana. Don't be weird about it.

As of right now, I do not see any tickets that need to be purchased or prices. I'm assuming usually brewery prices and rules usually apply for the beers, and they will direct you with any other questions you might have on the day of the event.

Get out and drink some great Missoula beer for a great event!
