Is it Cat Saturday Yet?
I have to start out by saying that my husband is not a cat lover, in the slightest. However, every Saturday he eagerly awaits the new Cat Saturday posts. He then spends a good half an hour laughing (almost to the point of tears) at cat picture after cat picture.
I made a lot of fun of him, and I mean a lot when I found out how excited he got for this weekly shot of feline humor. It is almost as funny to watch his reactions to the pictures as it is to look at the pictures myself.
I was a bit hesitant to take my first peek at Cat Saturday, but when I finally gave in, I was pleasantly surprised at what I saw. Most of the pictures were actually funny, even for non-cat lovers.
I’m not sure whether crazy cat ladies would find this site hilarious or offensive. I know that we aren’t obsessive about cats and we find this funny. However, someone who adores cats may find some of the pictures not so funny.
You see some of the pictures show cats in precarious positions, ie. falling out of trees, clinging to window screens upside down, or just generally freaking out about anything.
Cats seem to have an attitude. They are often full of themselves and over confident. Cat Saturday does a good job of showing just what kinds of trouble their attitudes can get them into.
I suggest that you at least give Cat Saturday a try. You might be surprised. You just might be just like me and turn out to like cats after all.
