How Did a Stuffed Animal Save a Kid’s Life?

This story sounds almost too amazing to have actually happened. Hard to believe there were no serious injuries. Or worse.

AP tells us that a two-year-old boy bounced from a bed out of a second-story window, but landed on his companion, a stuffed animal, and survived the near-twenty-foot fall onto concrete.

The little guy and his older sister were playing in his bedroom. He was bouncing up and down on the bed and somehow managed to fly out the window. He was clutching his big stuffed cow, which family members say he takes everywhere with him. The cow broke the fall and the kid came out of it with only a few cuts and scrapes. As a precaution he was kept overnight at a hospital in Chelsea, Mass. But he is reportedly doing fine.

I imagine by now the cow is a legally-adopted member of the family.
