Hamilton Broncs Host Miles City in Class A Football Playoff
The Hamilton Broncs will face the Miles City Cowboys in the State Class A football quarterfinal weekend Saturday, November 3. The game will be at 1 p.m. in Hamilton and KLYQ Radio will have play-by-play on the air. The game is one of four Class A football games throughout Montana as the march continues to the championship game November 17th. Hamilton's season record earned them a week off last Saturday, as eight teams started the playoffs. Miles City of Custer County defeated Belgrade easily 46 to 7. Corvallis is also in the quarterfinals this Saturday, by defeating Frenchtown 28 to 23. The Blue Devils travel to Laurel for a game against the Locomotives.
Also last week. Lewistown defeated Sidney 21 to 0 and Dillon beat Whitefish 27 to 7. The other November 3 quarterfinal games are Dillon at Billings Central (Billings also had a first round bye) and Columbia Falls at Lewistown. In Class B last week, Florence-Carlton lost to Big Timber 30 to 0 and Missoula Loyola defeated Three Forks 54 to 14. Florence is done for the season, but Loyola hosts Huntley Project this Saturday. In 8-man football, Shelby ended Darby's season 56 to 14 last week.
