Even the most devoted of us Montana Grizzly fans will struggle to put a positive spin on this game. Seemingly almost before anyone could blink, Northern Arizona jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter, and returned fumbles for touchdowns in the second and third quarters (including a 98-yarder) and pretty much coasted to a lopsided 34-16 victory, giving NAU head coach and former Griz defensive coordinator Jerome Souers his second consecutive victory over UM after losing his first 15 tries. Montana's last points came with less than a minute to play in the game as the Lumberjack defense dominated. What can you say? Still a respectable 3-1. Still ranked in the top 25 even with a big drop coming Monday. Regroup! It's homecoming, baby! Here's to better days. DB
