Goodfellows Free Thanksgiving in Missoula Is Moving This Year

The Goodfellows Organization has a long history of helping out those in need in Missoula around the holidays, and they've become well-known for their Free Thanksgiving dinners in town. Those dinners date all the way back to 1959 - that's over 60 years of helping out the community!

This Year, The Free Goodfellows Thanksgiving Meal Is A Little Different

For the longest time, these Thanksgiving meals were held at Fuddruckers in Missoula... but of course, Fuddruckers is no longer here - they closed down back in October 2019. So it's been a crazy couple of years for Goodfellows.

First off, because there was such short notice for Fuddruckers closing, they weren't able to have their annual free Thanksgiving in 2019.

Things looked like they might not be able to come together in 2020 either, thanks to COVID, but luckily they were able to make it happen, this time around over at The Top Hat.

And now, in 2021, Goodfellows is actually changing their location AGAIN - this time around, their free Thanksgiving Meal will take place at the Thomas Meagher Bar, who made the announcement on Facebook last week.

I'm sure a lot of people are very excited that they've been able to continue the tradition, and the move from the Top Hat to the Meagher Bar allows them to accommodate more people in a bigger location.
