Even in Butte you know you've had too much when you see a pygmy goat walk into the bar. Well actually, according to the Montana Standard Newspaper, that is what happened early Sunday morning. Somebody apparently tossed the goat into an unidentified bar (my guess is the Hairy Nanny but who knows?) where an animal control officer picked it up. That's a first for the shelter. They named it Shirley. And the little critter, described as very sweet and friendly, will be put up for adoption later in the week if nobody claims it. I wonder if any of the bar patrons bothered to see if Shirley knew any tricks, like buy the bar a round. DB
