There will be a benefit dinner on Sunday, Nov. 18 on behalf of Adam Gallegos, the shooting victim from the Ole's convenience store robbery that took place on September 7. Adam was shot in the chest during the robbery and suffered severe chest trauma from the incident, including a collapsed lung.

The funds raised by the benefit will help Adam's recovery, but there's more than just finances involved for the Gallagos family. "It's not just about the finances," said Adam's aunt Eve Gallagos "he needs to have a since of community, that the community cares." The funds raised by the benefit will help Adam's recovery, there's more than just finances involved for the Gallagos family.

The Benefit dinner will be held at the East Missoula Fire Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday and will feature dinner from Charlie B’s for $10 per plate to help Adam and his family as well as a raffle with a chance to win items provided by locale businesses.

Donations to the Gallegos Benefit have already begun rolling in. Neptune Aviation has put up a $1,500 gift to help pay benefit expenses thanks to efforts by Det. Sgt. TJ McDermot

Donations can also be made in Adam Gallegos' name at the Missoula Federal Credit Union. "Just tell them it's for Adam," Eve Gallegos explains, "they'll know who it's for."
