Full Moon and Hamilton Christmas Tree

The evening following the December Full Moon presented an opportunity for the Moon to "photo-bomb" a picture of Hamilton's Community Christmas Tree on Main Street.

The moon has been a bright feature of the late night and early morning hours in the Bitterroot Valley.

Hamilton's Christmas Tree and all the holiday lights on the poles and trees in the downtown area are decorated by the Hamilton Downtown Association. who also have special late night shopping events on Fridays during December.

This Friday, December 8th, is the annual "Follow the Sheep Trail" for families to search for a dozen knitted toy-sized sheep that are placed in various downtown businesses. Find them all, fill out your entry form and turn it in by the end of next week, December 14, and a random drawing will present the sheep to the first dozen names drawn.
