Free Fishing Seminars Saturday During Boat Show in Missoula
If you love to fish, you probably also love to get tips and strategies to help you catch more fish. We have some great freebies for you this weekend.
Bretz RV and Marine and Gull Boats and RV of Missoula are opening both their showrooms to host a combined event. More boats, more displays and two dealers mean better deals for you. The big indoor show and sale starts tomorrow (February 5) and continues through Monday, February 15.
One of the featured events that we think you anglers will enjoy will be held out at Bretz RV and Marine, 4800 Grant Creek Road. Scott Collinsworth, an award winning walleye tournament angler from Fort Peck Guide Service, will be featured this Saturday, February 6th at the Annual Missoula Indoor Boat Show. Along with his wife, Jess, Scott has owned the Fort Peck Marina for a couple of years now, started his guide service at the same time. He spends a lot of time on the water and has clients who have enjoyed fishing the multi-species that Fort Peck has to offer.
Scott’s first free seminar is "Jigging Monster Fort Peck Lake Trout." Scott says, “Anglers will learn key tips and tricks to consistently put more fish in the boat. I will focus on bait selection, gear selection, key areas and time of year for best lake trout action.” The lake trout seminar will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday.
Then, at 1:00 p.m., Scott will be offering a seminar on how to catch giant Chinook salmon on Fort Peck. Scott says, “I will be targeting the salmon of Fort Peck Lake and how you can catch the black jaw fever. Anglers will learn key areas along with the baits that have consistently put these hard fighting fish in their nets. These fish are very finicky, and we have learned some great tricks that will help everyone become a better salmon fisherman.”
Again, these seminars are free. Enjoy the boat show and sale and get excited for spring and summer fishing in Montana!
