For many, it can be a challenge to budget for necessary clothing with the holiday season and colder weather coming our way.

Our friends at Bethel Community Church and their Bethel Clothes Closet will once again be conducting one of their wonderful Free Clothing For All Days on Saturday, November 13, from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. This 11-year-old tradition has  provided a huge variety of  free clothing in all sizes to anyone in need in our community, having served over 33,000 people by giving away more than 118 tons  of new and gently used clothing and accessories.

The Clothes Closet has been closed to the general public since the start of COVID, but will be open for one day only in order for folks to get the clothing they need for free. Shoppers  are expected to be COVID-safe while shopping, wearing masks, using available hand sanitizer and maintaining social distancing.

Everyone who is in need is welcome. There are literally thousands of new and gently used clothing items for the entire family in virtually all sizes. That includes a very good selection of cold weather clothing for adults and for children of all ages. They have casual, dress and professional clothing, coats, shoes and more. There are no limits to how much you can take, just please be sure they are items that you really need. The clothing is not for resale.

This will be the only day the Closet will be open to the public. And while they appreciate your kindness and generosity, they are not accepting donations at this time.

The Bethel Clothes Closet is located at Bethel Community Church, 1601 South 6th St. West, just one block west of Russell Street.
