Fly Fishing the Bitterroot in December

What a beautiful day in December to go fly fishing. The sun was out and the fish were biting, not necessarily what I had but they were eating.

I have never seen so many fish eat dry flies in December and now I am upset I didn't switch over. I was trying a new setup and so I didn't want to switch. It was a nice day and yes a lot of Whitefish. Did have a couple trout on too.

These warmer days in December are nice but will not last long.
