Well there were some fish on my line for vacation so things were good. Vacation didn't quite go as plan but in the end it was nice to do some fly fishing.

I headed up north to the Clark Fork and enjoyed some time with friends. I caught a few cut-bows ( Cutthroat and Rainbow hybrid), Rainbow and then a few straight Cutthroats. The temps were in the low 90's and this certain stretch of water is deep enough that the water temp isn't as high as other areas so it is better to fish these in the hot summer days to not stress the fish.

They say you can't be in a bad mood in the middle of a big beautiful river.
