Eli Young Band are back at No. 1 on both the Billboard and Mediabase / Country Aircheck Country Singles charts this week with their latest hit, ‘Even if It Breaks Your Heart.’ This marks the second consecutive chart-topper for the foursome following ‘Crazy Girl.’

The tune was penned in 2009 by Eric Paslay (who also took part in writing Jake Owen‘s No. 1 hit ‘Barefoot Blue Jean Night’) and Will Hoge, who first released the song on his own album ‘The Wreckage.’  The song is the follow-up release to EYB’s previous award-winning smash, ‘Crazy Girl.’ Both songs can be found on their latest album, ‘Life at Best.’

‘Even if It Breaks Your Heart’ is quickly approaching platinum certification and recently topped the country singles chart in Canada as well.

Trailing close behind Eli Young Band on the charts this week are Dierks Bentley‘s ’5-1-5-0,’ sitting at No. 2, Kenny Chesney‘s steamy ‘Come Over’ at No. 3, Gloriana‘s ‘(Kissed You) Good Night’ at No. 4, Toby Keith‘s ‘Beers Ago’ at No. 6, Love and Theft‘s ‘Angel Eyes’ at No. 7 and the Band Perry‘s ‘Postcards From Paris’ at No. 9 (Mediabase) and No. 10 (Billboard).
