Montana DUI Story Draws National Attention for One Reason
The following story is... something. Not that you need a reminder, but I hope this serves as a reminder to avoid driving drunk.
If you do drive drunk and get busted for a DUI, then definitely DON'T DRIVE DRUNK AGAIN TO PAY OFF YOUR DUI FINE.
Montana Man Arrested For DUI... Again
A lot of media outlets have reported on this story, but now it's making headlines. The Independent covered the Montana man who "was arrested for driving under the influence after he drove himself to the sheriff's office to pay for a previous fine while intoxicated."
The Granite County Sheriff's Office, where the story occurred, posted the full story and a PSA on Facebook.
As a public service announcement, if you drive to the Sheriff’s Office intoxicated (alcohol or drugs), you will be arrested for DUI. If you drive here with a suspended or no license, you will get a ticket. If you enter the Sheriff's Office with a warrant, you will be arrested. - Granite County Sheriff's Office Facebook page

The guy was not identified in the Facebook post or the national articles.
Oh, the irony. Paying off your drunk fines, while you're drunk, while you're driving your car.

OutKick also covered the story. We also received notifications from our national prep services about the two-time DUI award winner.
Get an Uber, a Lyft, or a taxi. Don't make the mistake of drinking and driving, and definitely don't make the mistake of drinking and driving twice.
