Ducks Argue at Refuge Dinner Table

Some Merganser ducks were floating and fishing in a pond at the Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge this week. One of the lucky ducks caught a huge fish. (see photo above.) The other ducks thought that the first duck should share. That duck disagreed. (Photos below)

The chase continued out into other areas of the pond, beyond view from the road. However a while later, three ducks flew off. Did that first one look a little fatter than the others?
