Lots of people got into the Halloween mood this week. A survey revelaed that we Americans spent just under $80 for costumes, decorations, greeting cards and candy. The National Confectioners Association says we bought 600 million pounds of candy worth $2.4 Billion.

Here in Missoula some folks really got into the act. The Bickels on S.3rd W. decorated their whole front yard with life sized animated spooky figures. Dragon Hollow down at Caras Park became Haunted Hollow. Lots of people having fun including a guy who calls himself the “Hooked on Science Guy” , a regular on a TV Station in Evansville,Indiana.  He has a pumpkin with eyes, nose, and mouth carved but leaves the  pieces in place. Watch what happens when he tries an experimental way to finish carving the  pumpkin.
