Don’t Try This at Home

Lots of people got into the Halloween mood this week. A survey revelaed that we Americans spent just under $80 for costumes, decorations, greeting cards and candy. The National Confectioners Association says we bought 600 million pounds of candy worth $2.4 Billion.

Here in Missoula some folks really got into the act. The Bickels on S.3^rd W. decorated their whole front yard with life sized animated spooky figures. Dragon Hollow down at Caras Park became Haunted Hollow. Lots of people having fun including a guy who calls himself the “Hooked on Science Guy” , a regular on a TV Station in Evansville,Indiana.  He has a pumpkin with eyes, nose, and mouth carved but leaves the  pieces in place. Watch what happens when he tries an experimental way to finish carving the  pumpkin.
