Unfortunately Alzheimer's Disease is becoming more and more common, but here in Missoula a group is standing up to Alzheimer's.  The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is a movement to reclaim the future for millions of people. It's set to take place Sunday, September 11th at Silver Park, located at 700 Cregg Lane in Missoula. Close to 180 people are expected to raise money and awareness to fight this terrible disease.

The walk itself is a 2 mile wheelchair and stroller friendly walk. Also at the event people will learn about Alzheimer's disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment, and services from the Alzheimer's Association.

The most touching part of the whole event is when the walking participants all join in on a meaningful tribute ceremony to honor those affected by Alzheimer's.

It's really simple to start a team or just sign up yourself, you can call 800-272-3900 or click here.
