A company in San Francisco called Bitty Foods is grinding up crickets and processing them into flour that they use in baked goods.
That’s right … crickets.
You see, crickets are supposedly a good source of protein.
Not only that, they’re said to be packed with amino acids, omega-3 fatty acids, insoluble fiber, potassium, and B-vitamins.
They also have more iron than beef.
So the next time you make yourself a protein shake, consider throwing a few of the little critters in the blender. Or not. (Men’s Health)
