It was pretty cool to see Jeff at the grand opening as well.
The reception seemed to be wildly positive on their Facebook page. Mike said "YES!!!!! just another day changing lives.... the love of a toy...."
Misty chimed in saying "Great times!!!! Thanks for all you do!!!!"
At 28 years old, is it too late to learn skateboarding? My heart says no but my brain says sit on the sideline and watch the pros do it. If you're one of the pros, hit up the new Clinton skate park and let us know your thoughts.
Ament's nonprofit Montana Pool Service isn't done yet. In 2024, two more parks are set to open in Arlee and Ronan. Char-Koosta News reported the skate park in Arlee has already broken ground.
Looking past 2024, Montana Pool Service has 8 cities on its "future" list for skate park sites. Glasgow, Lame Deer, Fort Benton, Wounded Knee, Chinook, Hingham and Inchelium are all listed on their website.
Since 2000, Ament's nonprofit has provided aid to build over 30 skate parks across the Treasure State with a couple in Washington and South Dakota. That includes skate parks in Missoula (built in 2006), Darby (2017), Stevensville (2018), Hamilton (2019) and Alberton (2019).
Don't forget Pearl Jam will rock Washington-Grizzly Stadium on Thursday, August 22 as a part of their Dark Matter World Tour.
Tickets are still available here.
