This is a great and easy recipe for Christmas, especially for parents.

I saw the recipe on Plain Chicken and thought wow this would be fun and easy to make.

8 cups Chex cereal, divided
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter, divided
1 Tbsp vegetable oil, divided
1 cup red candy melts
1 cup green candy melts
1-1/2 cups powdered sugar, divided
2 (gallon-sized) ziplock bags

It is pretty easy. I used White melting chocolate opposed to the candies and it turned out fine but the red was not as red as I wanted or the one on Plain Chicken.

Melt the chocolate or candies by putting in the microwave for 30 seconds then 15 second intervals after. If you use candied this where the vegetable oil comes in if it's just chocolate you won't need it.

Pour chex mix in a bowl then cover it with the coating and mix good. Then take the coated mix and throw into a gallon bag with 3/4 cup of powdered sugar. Mix well then lay out on wax or parchment paper and let dry. You can also mix with green and red M&M's or small candy canes to make it even more festive.
