Montana’s Best Retailers To Shop On Black Friday

Just like winter, Black Friday is coming. The day when Americans celebrate their capitalism by racing to the stores, stampeding over one another and taking advantage of those sweet, sweet discounts.

The funniest part to me is whoever invented Black Friday decided it would be best the day after Thanksgiving - a day when you care about your loved ones and are grateful for all the wonderful things in your life... LIKE THOSE SWEET, SWEET DISCOUNTS ON TELEVISIONS AND VIDEO GAMES.

The financial education website WalletHub conducted a study on the best places to shop on Black Friday. WalletHub is doing its part to help find those SWEET, SWEET SAVINGS for you and the family. WalletHub compiled a list of the top 10 retailers based on the average discount of each company. Montanans are lucky enough to shop at 8 of the 10 retailers.

Here are the 8 retailers from WalletHub's list with locations in Montana

#1 JCPenney (Avg Discount: 76.2%)

Storefront locations: Kalispell, Great Falls and Billings.

#3 Macy's (Avg Discount: 57.13%)

Storefront locations: Bozeman

#4 Kohl's (Avg Discount: 43.55%)

Storefront locations: Billings, Bozeman, Kalispell and Missoula,

#5 Walmart (Avg Discount: 37.75%)

Storefront locations: Billings, Bozeman Butte, Great Falls, Helena, Kalispell, Miles City, Missoula and Polson

#6 Home Depot (Avg Discount: 32.43%)

Storefront Locations: Billings, Bozeman, Butte, Helena, Great Falls, Kalispell and Missoula

#7 Amazon (Avg Discount: 32.05%)

No storefronts, but you're golden as long as you are connected to the internet.

#9 Target (Avg Discount: 28.65%)

Storefronts: Billings, Bozeman, Great Falls, Helena, Kalispell and Missoula

#10 Best Buy (Avg Discount: 28.43%) 

Storefronts: Billings, Bozeman, Kalispell and Missoula

The only two retailers that aren't in Montana are #2 Belk and #8 BJ's.
