The crowd was dancing as the Big Sky Mudflaps debuted songs from their new CD, "Home Base," at Hamilton's Bitterroot Brewery Sunday evening.

The band members were busy this year with Jason Hicks producing the 15 tracks at Beef Studios in Missoula. Songs include compositions from Bob Dylan, Mose Allison, Rogers and Hart, Deodato and a couple of original tunes from David Horgan and Bob Packwood.

Quite a few CDs went home with fans at the December 17 event.

The 'Flaps on this CD include David Horgan, Beth Lo, Maureen Powell, Bob Packwood, Chuck Florence, Rich Brinkman and Jim Rodgers.
They also had the opportunity to include on various selections former Mudflaps drummer Mike Lea, along with Dick Skultin, Tai Horgan and Joan Zen's Deborah Hicks.

The album was dedicated to original founding member Steve Powell, who passed away in 2013.

Where can you get the new CD? Go to the Big Sky Mudflaps website or in Hamilton at the Music Box and Art City and in Missoula at Rockin' Rudy's and Ear Candy.
