The University of Montana's Twitter page posted much clearer images of the moose at South Campus Stadium on campus.

Even here in Missoula, Montana, you don't see moose trotting around town often. Early Wednesday afternoon, the Montana Grizzlies Soccer Twitter page tweeted "Most Montana thing ever: there's a moose on the field. #GrizLife"

Next, I texted Coach Citowicki to see if he snagged a picture of it, but he said he couldn't get one in time before the Parks and Rec department had to intervene. Eventually, I found a video on Twitter showing the moose running through Missoula. A Scripps News reporter, Maritsa Georgiou, tweeted out a video saying her friend spotted this moose running in the University District.
It appears the video was taken in an alley south of the South Avenue and South Higgins Avenue intersection behind the South Avenue Market. As I write this, I just discovered a better video of it taken by UM employee Zach Peevey and tweeted out by Science Reporter Madison Dapcevich.

It hasn't been confirmed, but Dapcevich later tweeted "I was told the moose has since been tranquilized for possible relocation."
