A Good Reason for Drilling Failures
You know how politicians are quick to blame previous administrations when there are little or not results? Well, here's a politician that's blaming the administration from millions of years ago! Just kidding, Mr. Mayor! The city of Manson, Iowa is on its fourth attempt to drill a new well. Mayor Dave George says that the can't crack deep enough because of a meteor that struck 74 million years ago, creating the Manson impact crater. No sign of a meteor on the surface. but the underground remnants are really complicating well drilling. An Iowa company that uses satellite imagery to find water is on the case. They should know soon. Stay thirsty, my friends. DB
