90s Country Star Announced To Perform In Kalispell
Working at a radio station, I love following all of the concert announcements for Western Montana. We are fortunate to receive all the great acts that we get yearly out here, but we should feel extra fortunate when a big-time 90s country music star.
This morning we received a press release from the Wachholz College Center at Flathead Valley Community College announcing "Country Music Icon" Clint Black will perform live at the Wacholz College Center in Kalispell this August 25.
The performance commemorates Black's 35th anniversary of his triple-platinum album Killin' Time. His debut studio album hit the airwaves on May 2, 1989, and featured many of his best hits including Killin' Time, A Better Man, Nobody's Home and Nothing's News.
Wachholz College Center Director Matt Laughlin showed his excitement in the press release.
"We are honored to welcome Clint Black back to the Wachholz College Center. This concert is a unique opportunity for fans to experience this country music legend performing Killin' Time live on stage from start to finish, and to celebrate the enduring legacy of one of country music's most influential albums. It's a show that promises to be unforgettable."
I, too, am excited for this show. The last time Black hit Montana was back in 2022, also at the Wachholz College Center.
You need to wait a couple of months, but tickets go on sale this Friday, June 7 at 10 am. Tickets for Black, and every other Wachholz College Center event, can be found here:
