Hot country star Eric Church just got a little hotter. The ‘Drink in My Hand’ hitmaker leads the 2012 CMA Award nominations with a whopping five. Church is up for Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year. His No. 1 hit ‘Springsteen’ also earned him nods in the categories of Single of the Year, Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year.

Luke Bryan — filling in for Lady Antebellum — and Jason Aldean revealed the list of nominations live on ‘Good Morning America’ on Wednesday morning (Sept. 5), ironically calling out their own names in some categories. Bryan is nominated for Album of the Year for ‘Tailgates and Tanlines,’ while both he and Aldean are up for Male Vocalist of the Year. Aldean scored additional nominations in the categories of Single of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.

Country music’s reigning couple, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, continued their streak with four nominations each, including a shared nod for Song of the Year for ‘Over You,’ which they co-wrote.

The 46th Annual CMA Awards will broadcast live from Nashville on Nov. 1 at 8PM ET on ABC, hosted once again by the entertaining pair of Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.
