2 Easy Ways to Keep Spiders Out Your House!

If you are anything like my wife Savannah even the word spider will make you cringe. Luckily I have no problem with any spiders as long as they are smaller than the bottom of my shoe. As I am sure you have probably noticed more spiders are crowding around door ways and trying to get inside of your home. There are a few simple things you can do around you house to make sure spiders are staying outside.

1. Mint them out! Yes, spiders hate peppermint. You can purchase some peppermint essential oil at Target or Wal-Mart and mix it with water and put the combination into a spray bottle. Not only does this guarantee that spiders will stay away but also your home will smell great!

2. Citrus will do it! Don't just throw away those orange or lemon peels those can really detour spiders from coming around. It may seem weird to rub orange peels on your baseboards but wherever you see spiders is exactly where you should be putting the citrus. Often times even lemon scented cleaners can do the trick!

These tricks aren't going to work if you have your whole house covered in spiders but at that point, most people would either call an exterminator or burn the whole house down. :) I hope this helps!
