It seems that getting into shape and being healthy is quite popular these days. Locals are doing everything from boot camp in the park to cross fit and Oula to yoga to try to look and feel their best. I myself have tried none of these yet, but people I know who have tried these, just rave about them.

I recently ran across a new fitness craze that is sweeping the nation and I can’t wait to try it. It’s called prancercise. You might be thinking to yourself that prancing is something a horse does and you would be correct. You see prancercise takes the beautiful way a horse moves and incorporates that into a sensual aerobic workout.

Prancercise can be done virtually anywhere. If you have a treadmill, you can do it on a treadmill. However, I prefer to prancercise outside in the wild outdoors, like a horses do. I like to do it with my hair down so I can feel my hair blowing in the wind and even enjoy letting out a little winny to help myself really get in the equine spirit.

If you’ve tried other forms of exercise and haven’t been satisfied, if you want to give something new a try or if you just want to feel like a majestic galloping horse, then consider prancercise.
