In January of 2012, University of Montana President Royce Engstrom revealed that the NCAA was conducting an investigation into the Grizzly football program.
University of Montana Athletic Director Jean Gee confirmed Friday that former Grizzly quarterback Jordan Johnson will be able to keep his athletic scholarship, should he decide to return to classes in the fall. Gee said that despite the charge of sexual intercourse without consent leading to Johnson’s suspension from the football team, his scholarship remains intact.
