Halloween weekend is nearly here, so put those finishing touches on your costume. What a wacky holiday! It gives kids excuses to rot their teeth out roaming door to door snagging candy, and it gives adults excuses to play dress up at their friend's kegger party.

Try explaining Halloween to an alien species.

What are you dressing up as this year? Have you picked out your costume yet? If not, you are running out of time, my friend. I am going as Paulie from HBO's The Sopranos. I missed the Sopranos craze by 20 years, but I'm currently watching it for the first time ever.

Instead of a suit, I'm going with a red tracksuit with a beater and gold chain underneath. There will be some gabagool too.

If you need more ideas or are curious about what other Missoulians are going for, I reached out to our followers on Facebook to ask what they're dressing up as. Here are some of my favorites:

Beetlejuice Bob Costume - Bobbi

See, now that is a timely costume, Bobbi. You are much more in tune with pop culture than I am seeing that you're dressing up as a 2024 movie and I'm dressing up as a 90s-00s TV show.

Anna from Frozen the movie - Tara

Going with the less popular Anna I see. I like it. Too many people have cosplayed Elsa, so I like the Anna idea.

Ghost - Susie

Simple. Old school. We love it.

The Skittles Monster - Mary

Is there a "Skittles Monster?" I've never heard of that but go crazy, Mary!

I call it "guy that has to go to work tomorrow" cause I have to go to work tomorrow... - Jancy

... Oh... well that kind of sucks.
