Two car shows continue a full summer of shows in the Bitterroot this summer. Saturday, July 6, the annual Sapphire Classics Charity Car Show in Hamilton will take over the Mildenberger Motors lot with public viewing from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wes Young said registration will be from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. for those who want to show off their wheels. Lunch will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and an awards presentation will be at 3 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit Emma's House and S.A.F.E. (Supporters of Abuse Free Environments).

The South Valley Civic Group is sponsoring the Classic Show & Shine in Darby Sunday, July 7. The cars will be parked across US 93 from the Sacajawea Rest Park in downtown Darby, and the public is invited from 12 noon to 4 p.m. There will an art display from Darby High School, music by Billy G, a presentation on Lewis and Clark by Ted Hall, ice cream, and a raffle. Enjoy the shiny cars!
