The annual pilgrimage to South Dakota is officially underway. You may have noticed a huge increase of motorcycles on the highway lately. A mass migration of two-wheel lovers are all heading east to the Black Hills of South Dakota. When it comes to the Sturgis rally, half of the fun is getting there. Lots of pit stops are planned along the way. Some of those pit stops are taking in the sights of some of our state parks and even national parks along the way.

You may remember a story that surfaced a few years ago, right around the time of the annual bike rally. A woman visiting Custer State Park in South Dakota lost her pants, and nearly lost her life, to an ornery bison. The video showed a gathering of motorcycles in the park. The woman appears to have gotten off of her bike to get a closer look at the giant bison. One of the bison was a little grumpy about how close she was getting and charged the woman. Resulting in her losing her denim jeans.

But, it appears that the footage of this bike enthusiast getting attacked is not the only footage of bison versus bikers. The showdown of bison versus bikers is a lot more common than we might think. The YouTube channel, Harley Davidson Lifestyle, put together a 3 minute compilation of bison getting annoyed with the rumble of the motorcycles.

Who will win? The iconic American Harley Davidson or the great American icon, the Bison?
