Pheasants & Home Expo: Happenings in Missoula This Short Weekend
Yep, it's that "Spring Forward" weekend, short-changing us by an hour. Maybe here's a tip or two to try to make the most of it.
It's a "tweener" time of year. Not really all that nice to spend much time outdoors, but far enough along into the cabin fever season to be thinking about the promise of nicer weather ahead. If you are starting to consider home upgrades, or if you are avid Montana bird hunters, you might want to check these out.
MBIA REMODELING AND HOME EXPO
Many vendors will be on hand to help you step into a world where home meets innovation at the Missoula Building Industry Association's Remodeling & Home Expo, this Saturday and Sunday, March 9-10, at the Western Montana Fairgrounds. Discover the latest trends in home design, remodeling, smart home technology, and sustainability from the industry’s leading professionals.
Whether you’re an avid DIY enthusiast, a homeowner with a project in mind, or a professional looking to stay on top of the latest in the home industry, there’s something for everyone. Join the MBIA for two days of exciting exhibitors that will leave you inspired and ready to tackle your next project.
The show runs Saturday from 10:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Admission is only $2.
PHEASANTS FOREVER BANQUET
The annual 5 Valleys Chapter of Pheasants Forever banquet is this Saturday, March 9, at the Hilton Garden Inn. Proceeds stay in Montana for local habitat projects and youth programs.
In addition to a delicious dinner, there are live and silent auctions and raffles. Doors open early for "Crowing Hour" at 4:30 p.m. There are numerous tickets options, whether you are a single or want to bring a table of 8. Ticket availability, pricing and more information can be found on the montanapf.org Events tab here.
We hope this gives you some activities to look forward to this weekend, and please try to enjoy all 47 hours of it.
