I haven't had much experience when it comes to eating at Panera Bread. My visits don't stretch much further than me eating there a time or two when somebody else was in charge of picking where to dine. But I've also never had a location that was super convenient to where I lived.......until now. And by "now" I mean a little bit later than now......when the new location on N. Reserve is finished being built.

If you're not familiar with Panera Bread, it might be because there aren't many to be found around Montana. The Panera website lists 2,147 locations in the United States. A whopping TWO of those are in Montana - Kalispell and Billings. Of the states that have locations, only Wyoming has less (1) while Florida tops the list with 191. So if you've never ventured outside of Montana much, it would make sense that Panerea Bread stores aren't really on your radar.

I've made it a point to take a peek every time I drive by the new construction site for Missoula's Panera Bread. I'll be following along as it takes shape in the Target parking lot over the next few months since I'm always around that area on N. Reserve. I did a little looking online and it appears the new location has been in the works for almost two years, as this Missoulian article from 2018 shows.

We'll keep you posted on the progress of Panera Bread and let you know when you'll be able to enjoy their bakery items, soups, sandwiches, and more. If you're interested in employment, Panera is looking to hire. I've seen multiple listings for positions. Check out a few of the openings HERE and HERE.
