TMHT: Pick Precious Pablo at the Humane Society of Western Montana
Let's just say he did not make a quiet, unassuming entrance. "Hey, I'm here. Let's party!"
It was another Take Me Home Tuesday with the Humane Society of Western Montana, proudly sponsored by our animal-loving friends at Paul's Pancake Parlor in Missoula. Katie introduced us to Pablo, a spirited, fun-loving gentle giant waiting for his forever home. When he is served something he likes, he must really chow down, as Katie describes him as a rather picky eater. He does currently weigh just over 100lbs, so despite his desire to snuggle into the couch, he is looking for a home that can help him lose a few pounds.
And while he was a bit nervous in new surroundings, as many of the Humane Society pets are when they come in our studios for a visit, he is a people pleaser, happy as he could be to see you.
A BIT OF A MYSTERY
Not much is known about Pablo, as he was brought to the shelter as a stray. Katie says they estimate him to be about 8 years old. He definitely has the bigger type of block head and brindle-like spots on his back and belly.
Pablo was found in the St. Regis area of western Montana. The folks that found him did keep him for about a week before they brought him in. They report that he was great with their kids, cats and dogs.
PUPPY PARADE AT THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF WESTERN MONTANA
Along with Pablo, the shelter currently has a lot of puppies waiting for adoption, including one-month-olds Dell, Gene, Kane, Monroe, Norma and Zonk. So, whether you are looking for a more mature dog like Pablo, or a young little tyke, it's a great time to visit.
The Humane Society of Western Montana is open Wednesdays through Sundays, 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm at 5930 Highway 93 South, Missoula. Learn more and see more of the pets waiting for adoption here.
