We've been following the progress of a new building on N. Reserve for a while now. It caught my eye when construction started in the lot that used to be Fuddruckers. Oh man....just mentioning Fuddruckers makes me wish I could stop in for a burger, shake, and some arcade games right about now. But anyway.....we played a couple rounds of "I hope the new building will be a _____" before we learned that it would actually be a new branch of Mountain America Credit Union. And just today I saw that the plan is for the business to be open in the spring.

I pass by the site of the new credit union branch almost daily and it's really taking shape. The next thing you know we'll blink and it'll be time for the grand opening. And it looks like Mountain America Credit Union is ready to find the smiling faces that'll greet you when you walk through the doors for the first time.

Are you looking for a new job? A fresh start at a new place? A career change? Need an opportunity after the pandemic affected your employment? Mountain America Credit Union will hold a hiring fair on February 9th at the Missoula Hilton Garden Inn from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Part of a press release states: With roots dating back to the 1930s, Mountain America prides itself on helping individuals and businesses achieve their dreams and making their communities a better place to live and work. Mountain America is also passionate about serving its communities. Last year, the credit union delivered meals for frontline workers, raised money for local food banks, provided free financial education to over one million individuals, and more.

Their website says they have multiple full-time positions that they're hiring for, including tellers, loan officers, assistant branch manager and mortgage loan officer.
