Well, we're gettin' there. At least we have a handle on our non-conference games' starting times.

And while still only one Big Sky Conference start time has been announced, Griz fans can start planning for a couple of September home contests. And even one on the road that might get more fans thinking road trip, with an evening start.

Eric Taber, UM Sports Information Department, tells us the University of Montana Grizzlies have released a few more start times for the upcoming season. Our two non-conference home games and the one road game are now on the books.

Kickoff times and broadcast details for Montana’s three nonconference games have been finalized, with a September night game in Washington-Grizzly Stadium highlighting the early part of the 2023 schedule.

It will be an early start to Labor Day weekend festivities, as Montana’s season-opener against the Butler Bulldogs will kick off at noon on September 2.

The Griz then head south to St. George, Utah, for their first night game of the season at Utah Tech. Kickoff against the Trailblazers set for 7:00 p.m. on September 9.

Then it will be another Bulldog battle! The Griz return home for an evening game. We won't quite call it all under the lights, but we'll get there by halftime or so. Montana will take on the two-time defending Division-II national champion Ferris State Bulldogs. Kickoff is  set for 6:00 p.m. in Missoula. EARLY WARDROBE ALERT: The game will be a “blackout” with fans encouraged to wear black.

Kickoff times for 7 remaining Griz Big Sky Conference games are expected to be finalized in the near future.
