On my sports talk show The Daily Drive with Ace Sauerwein on our sister station KGRZ, we held a "Starting 5" of the best Christmas Movies of all-time. Myself, the Voice of the Griz Riley Corcoran and Grizzly Men's Basketball SID Jackson Wagner each drafted our top 5 Christmas movies. You can listen to the draft in the podcast episode below.

I won't reveal all of our top 5s, but I'll let you know my top overall pick was Home Alone. It's my favorite Christmas movie of all time. You just can't beat Macaulay Culkin beating up the Wet Bandits.

HostingAdvice put together the most streamed "Anti-Christmas" movies based off a 3,000-person survey. I thought it was interesting and unique they looked at "Anti-Christmas" movies. So many outlets do these lists but for plain jane Christmas movies. I loved that HostingAdvice looked at the opposite. The top anti-Christmas movie in Montana is...

A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)

Freddy Krueger, that dream-jumping psychopath, was introduced in the 1984 slasher classic. To me, the exact opposite effect of Christmas is Freddy Krueger, so in terms of anti-Christmas movies then this one may take the cake. The very screwed up cake.

Ok, how about number two?

Gremlins (1984)

Gremlins was just shown at the Roxy Theater in Missoula. Though it's not technically a Christmas movie Gremlins qualifies as an anti-Christmas movie I suppose.

Krampus (2015)

I'll be honest, I have no clue what Krampus is.

Anyways, Merry Christmas.
