Montana’s Most Outrageous Dessert is in Missoula
I consider myself somebody who enjoys the finer things in life: caviar, champagne, big old tubs of ice cream. Truly a feast of champions.
MSN put together a list of the most outrageous desserts in every state in the US, and good news for local fans of delicious cuisine: Montana's dessert is located right here in Missoula.
That would be the Super Nova Sundae from our very own Big Dipper Ice Cream. Here's how they describe the amazing monstrosity:
"To put it simply, the Super Nova sundae (which costs over $14) at Missoula's No. 1 ice cream shop, Big Dipper Ice Cream, is out of this world. Finish it yourself—it's a bucket of two giant brownies, six scoops of ice cream and six toppings—and you'll be awarded a bumper sticker boasting "I can't believe I ate the whole thing!"
Well, I've never had the Super Nova Sundae, so I guess that's next on my list now. I may have to set aside a whole day for it, because I'm pretty sure I won't want to do anything else after I chomp that one down.
