For the second time this season, Montana Grizzly basketball standout Sayeed Pridgett has earned Big Sky Conference Player of the Week honors.

In two wins last week over Weber State and Idaho State, Sayeed poured in 49 points, had 16 rebounds, 11 assists and three steals, as Montana coasted to a 72-37 romp over Weber State and kept their distance throughout most of a 78-63 win over Idaho State.

Griz fans in attendance Saturday who were aware of a rare accomplishment in Montana basketball history were on the edge of their seats to see if Sayeed could record a statistical "Triple Double." Late in the game he was already in double-figures scoring (24) and rebounding (11) and came so very close to a tenth assist, finishing the game with 9. There have only been a few of these in the annals for Griz basketball.

Our congrats to Sayeed Pridgett of the first-place Griz, preparing for a big Brawl of the Wild game at Montana State on Saturday night.
