It's a great week, my friends.

It's a wonderful week to be in Missoula, my friends.

Do you want to know why, my friends?

Kettlehouse Amphitheater kicks off its summer of music with the first show of the year.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better way to spend a night in Missoula (err, Bonner, I mean) than taking in a concert at Kettlehouse.

If you haven't been to Kettlehouse before, here are 4 tips to know before you go.

Kettelhouse Amphitheater Parking Is Suboptimal

Listen... as much as I love shows at Kettlehouse, we all know the parking situation is wack.

If you park in the lot, it's going to take you an eternity to get out.

I suggest you ride the shuttle that picks you up and drops you off downtown at the Top Hat. You'll still be waiting after the show, but not nearly as bad as trying to drive out on your own.

BONUS POINTS: You can purchase a beer at Top Hat and have a road beer on the way to the venue.

Buy lawn seats

The lawn seats are the best, in my humble opinion. They're cheaper than reserved stadium or the pit, and you get an incredible view with a breathtaking backdrop.

It's not like there's a bad seat in the house.

Bring a jacket

It'll be sunny and warm at the start of the show, so you may think you don't need a jacket.

WRONG.

Don't get caught under the Bonner night sky without a jacket or at least a sweatshirt.

It gets chilly.

Don't forget your ID

If you want a drink, you'll have to have your ID. Duh.

But another problem we've had is when people win tickets from listening to the radio. If you're a winner of one of our giveaways, you'll need to show your ID at the will call window, or the fine folks at LogJam Presents won't give you your free tickets.
