Roughly 29,000 pounds of Jimmy Dean sausage are being recalled nationwide after the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service received five separate complaints about finding metal pieces in the sausage links.

As of right now, it's not clear how far this sausage traveled. It was sent to an establishment in Tennessee before being distributed to other retail stores, but it's unclear whether or not those stores were in other states.

So be careful! It's possible that sausage reached Montana, so you'll want to check your freezer if you purchased some recently. All of the recalled sausage has the establishment number EST. 19085 printed on the back, and they have a use-by date of January 31st, 2019.
