Kids might not get to do much trick-or-treating door-to-door this year, but Westside Lanes and Fun Center in Missoula has another option.

BOO-ling, anyone? Westside Lanes wants to help make sure your kiddos still have a heck of a Halloween. From 4:00 till 8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 31, kids can enjoy Thunder Alley bowling with all the flashy lighting effects. The package includes two games of bowling, two slices of pizza or a hot dog and chips, along with a soda and trick-or-treat candy. They'll also show Halloween videos on the big screens, and while costumes are optional, there will be costume contest prizes.

The cost is $20 per kid. Limited to five bowlers per lane. What is NOT optional is wearing a mask. That will be required. There are no age restrictions, so kids of all ages can have a howling good time. Westside Lanes and Fun Center is not requiring reservations for the event, but if you would like to set a time for your group, you can call ahead and do so at 406-721-5263. Or stop by for more details at 1615 Wyoming Street in Missoula.

Speaking of kids, the Kids Bowl Free program has been extended until December 7. Kids who sign up can enjoy two free games each week from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Shoe rental not included.

Bowling is open every day from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m. Thorough COVID-19 sanitary and distancing measures are in place.

A holiday that celebrates the creepy, weird and mysterious is definitely a great fit for 2020, huh? Happy Halloween, everyone!
