Free Fishing Seminars in Missoula Saturday
While fishing opportunities are certainly available this time of year, we know you're anxious to get out in the open water with your crank baits and jigs.
In conjunction with the annual Bretz RV and Marine/Gull Boats Indoor Boat Show and Sale February 8-18, you're invited to attend free walleye and salmon fishing seminars this Saturday, February 9 inside Bretz RV just off the north end of Reserve Street in Missoula.
At 10:00 a.m. Jason Mundell with Rip N Lips Guide Service, who has won Montana walleye fishing tourneys, present Walleye Jig Selection and Preparation, which includes rod and line selection, along with many tips and tricks that have helped make Jason so successful over the years tournament fishing.
At 11:30 a.m. Scott Collingsworth, the new owner of Fort Peck Marina and another top walleye angler, will present Cranking Walleyes Under the Big Sky. Learn about bait selection for various times of year along with rod and reel selection.
At 1:00 p.m. Jason Mundell will return to address the ins and outs of Chinook salmon fishing on Fort Peck Reservoir, and explain why this year is projected to be a good year for Chinooks on Fort Peck.
