It’s Veterans Day and many will pause for a few moments to remember. I had two uncles who served in WWII; one with the Flying Tigers in Burma, and another was a member of the Army invasion of the Aleutians. My father-in-law enlisted in the Navy December 8, 1941. He served in the Pacific from 1941 to 1946. He’s 96 now and still lives in his own home.  I ran across a great story about a guy who officials believe is the oldest veteran in the nation.

Ceremonies are planned for 11 this morning at the Doughboy Statue at the Missoula County Courthouse. You may not have time to make that or any other ceremonies but some time today take a few minutes and remember.
